Professor Gailmard studies how political institutions operate, change, and affect governance quality. His work focuses particularly on the US executive branch, checks and balances across branches of government, bureaucratic capacity, and the evolution of US institutions. Gailmard applies strategic and historical perspectives to these issues.
Molly Cram, Executive Director
Molly recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a Master in Public Administration (MPA) degree from the Goldman School of Public Policy where she focused on dialogue across lines of difference and democracy building. Previously, Molly worked with community building organizations. She is passionate about community centered design, smooth organizational systems, and brewing the perfect cup of tea.
BLI is housed in the Travers Department of Political Science and the Berkeley Social Sciences Division.
